Designed
by
the
reknowned
architect
and
painter
Antonio
Salvetti,
in
the
last
century,
Villa
Signori
is
built
out
of
stone
and
marble
from
the
Apuane
quarries.
It
has
recently
been
fully
restored,
in
a
manner
faithful
to
the
original
design
and
materials.
The
entry
portico
flanked
by
antique
columns
leads
to
a
series
of
vast
rooms
lined
with
decorative
boiseries,
paved
with
worked
marble
and
furnished
with
fine
antiques.
The
result
is
an
atmosphere
of
refinements
and
elegance.
The
villa
is
surrounded
by
a
large
and
absolutely
tranquil
garden.
It
houses
a
bed
and
breakfast
consisting
of
six
ample
bedrooms
that
are
beautifully
decorated.
