owners
When
Paolo,
a
native
of
Tuscany
and
a
life-long
lover
of
the
famous
Versilia
coast,
and
Viviana,
who,
since
her
marriage
35
years
ago
has
learned
to
love
Versilia
too,
purchased
“Villa
Viviana”,
they
felt
they
had
found
the
perfect
summer
retreat
for
them
and
their
children.
When
the
children
grew
up,
the
couple
decided
to
turn
the
villa
into
the
“bed
and
breakfast”
of
their
dreams,
blending
together
a
friendly
and
informal
atmosphere
in
a
unique
setting
renowned
for
art,
history
and
culture
to
combine
leisurely
local
touring
with
pure
relaxation.
The
Villa
Set
amongst
the
lush
greenery
near
the
seaside
at
Marina
di
Pietrasanta
on
the
Versilia
coast,
“Villa
Viviana”
has
been
meticulously
restored.
Its
original
ambiance
remains
while
convenient
modern
utilities
and
amenities
have
been
incorporated.
The
rooms,
situated
on
the
first
floor
overlooking
the
magnificent
garden,
are
charmingly
appointed
with
marble
floors
from
the
Alpi
Apuane
and
are
all
different
in
layout.
Each
room
is
decorated
tastefully
in
a
different
colour
scheme,
with
classic
and
contemporary
paintings
-some
of
which
by
the
couple’s
son-
and
has
private
bath,
kitchenette
and
environmentally-friendly
air
conditioning.
This
comes
in
handy
on
hot
summer
evenings,
although
the
swimming
pool
is
wonderfully
refreshing.
Breakfast
is
served
in
the
dining
room
whose
windows
overlook
the
lush
garden
with
palm-trees,
holm-oaks
and
pine-trees,
classic
features
of
the
Versilia
Riviera.
The
swimming
pool
area,
solarium
and
garden
are
equipped
with
garden
furniture
for
sun-bathing
and
relaxation.
